Portrait of Dilara Kizilkaya

Dilara Kizilkaya

Computer Engineering graduate • M.S. Computer Science @ University of Iowa • Research Assistant, IIHR–Hydroscience & Engineering

I focus on advancing artificial intelligence through large language models (LLMs), applying them to real-world challenges. I am currently a Graduate Research Assistant at IIHR–Hydroscience & Engineering, where I work on AI-driven solutions for scientific computing. During my undergraduate studies, I served as a Research Assistant with the Erciyes Neutrino Research Group (ENRG) and contributed to the ANNIE experiment at Fermilab, gaining hands-on experience with particle physics data analysis. My goal is to bridge AI and scientific computing to create meaningful, rigorous research — and I’m always open to new collaborations.
